The Purgatories

It recently occurred to me that no country has seen the dramatic social change that Britain has seen in a relatively short time period (since the end of World War 2), without either a social revolution or losing a war!

If you look at the contrast in the state’s response to the murder of two policemen in the last century, it shows how dramatically Britain has been changed.

From Rule of Law to Mob Rule

When Derek Bentley was involved in the murder of a policeman in early 1950’s, the Home Secretary said ‘somebody must hang for this’. And Derek Bentley did hang.

However, by the time of the murder of PC Keith Blakelock in 1981, The politicians we’re so terrified of social unrest from Britains’ post war ethnic minorities, they introduced a new type of policing called community policing, so we had effectively abandoned the rule of law on the altar of race relations.

The end of Free speech

Enoch Powell’s infamous speech in 1968 had such a dramatic effect on British society that by 1975, the Labour Government had passed a race relations act , which proscribed free speech, if it was said to incite racial hatred, despite the fact, that it’s almost impossible to prove verbal incitement of anything.

Churchill supported a slogan in 1955 effectively saying ‘keep Britain homogeneous’ (he referred to a skin colour and you can look up the slogan) but 80 years later such a statement would land even this greatest ever Englishman in jail.

You could say that our legal system was changing dramatically from one in which the government sought to police actions, such theft, assault, murder etc towards a system designed to police words.

During a discussion about the Rape Gang crisis, in the week of 16th June 2025 leading Radio Presenter, Nick Ferrari told a caller to his LBC phone in, that it would be dangerous to say that multiculturalism has failed! But why would this be dangerous if all of Britains’ new immigrants are as peace loving as the indigenous British people, who saw crime levels actually fall in a U Shape between the 100 years from 1850, onwards despite 2 world wars and immense social change including a savage economic depression.

People associate post war immigration with a much more violent, divided and dangerous Britain because clear empirical evidence, shows certain subcultures of immigrant heritage to be over-represented and in some cases overwhelmingly so, in the cohorts of people involved in such criminality. The Racist Rape Gangs which targetted White British girls would not have been possible a couple of

generations ago because the ethnic minorities these subcultures come from were not in Britain in any significant number before the 1980’s.

I would argue that in Western Europe, Canada and the UK of social engineering is transforming countries with a distinct Judeao-Christian heritage into multicultural societies which are characterised by mass immigration, from very different cultures, and that those countries which are transformed will be very different to that which they would have been otherwise.

In Britain we have had 30 years of the Left trying to build a Multicultural Society, which no-one ever asked or wished for.

As the writer Michael Wharton wrote in 2000, ‘We have lost our country.. (In stark contrast for instance to Japan which Lost World War 2, but which lost neither its customs or its indigenous ethnic identity) So Wharton argued that even by 2000 we had lost our country at least in the big cities …

Wharton argued that no political party will save the British, and there would seem to be almost no precedent for the type of salvation , which we now require.

He ends his article by suggesting saying

‘God help the British. No one else will’

The Purgatories is a Comedy and new ideas venture.

I believe that multiculturalism is essentially a eugenics project backed up by a primitive, absolutist and repressive thought system euphemistically referred to as woke or diversity. In reality we are in the grip of an absolutist religion that uses banishment and promotes both taboos, (such as the Taboo about revealing the shocking truth that many of our schools, formerly benign if often uninspiring, have now become violent war-zones, which chew up teachers) and myths in order to enforce its worldview.

It has arisen partly due to the mechanics of cultural re engineering but also as a result of what the sociologist Patricia Morgan referred to as a post 50’s ‘brat plague’, with successive generations of people since the 1960s growing up more and more poorly socialised and therefore dependent upon a government determined to reshape society

The solutions we will explore involve moving towards a more republican Britain where we have a new model people’s army rather than a force which is loyal to an increasingly repressive government and a king of diversity and where we rely upon popular capitalism and the cooperatives which worked before the welfare monster to both create and redistribute wealth far better than we do as a society at the moment.
